My practice is not so concerned with art, as it is with life. The human condition has been my greatest preoccupation, and to experience many facets, contours and corners of what it means to be alive has been part of this journey.

My work therefore, centres largely around the human form and its experience of being. My aim is not to create a technical representation, but to allow the audience to connect with the essence of what I am seeing.

In 2010, I helped establish The Willow Gallery with Peter Vidal of Vidal & Company; a community project of regeneration through the arts in Shropshire, which saw the the transformation of a derelict car showroom and 17th century tavern into an art gallery, café and artisan studios.

From 2022 to 2024, I coordinated and curated MRS JONES Art Shop and Gallery, a local art space showcasing work by artists from across Shropshire, Wales and the UK.
